About Me

I’m a freelance copywriter and communications specialist committed to helping clients and individuals tell their stories.

My background has two main themes. One is writing—a fascination with communication and a love of good stories. The other is a long-standing interest in social impact, sustainability and how we interact with the environment. Where possible, I try to combine these two strands—to tell the stories that matter, in a way that people will hear them.

Originally from Oxford, I worked in London for ten years and now live in Amsterdam with my partner and two small daughters. In my increasingly-limited spare time I love to climb mountains (not so easy in The Netherlands, though I did once make it to Everest Base Camp), discover new music (I’m a Spotify addict and secret piano player), and write poems, articles and stories (so yes, I really am fascinated by words).

What else might you want to know? I’m quick at getting to know each new audience and adapting my writing voice to speak directly and authentically to them. I’m easy to work with, dependable, and a fast-working perfectionist. And I make a mean cup of tea (with milk, people, I’m English.)
